CARRYOVER SCORING.

Every tie raises the stakes. Halve a hole and nobody collects — the points roll into the next one, and by the back nine a single putt can be worth a fortune in bragging rights.

WHAT CARRYOVER DOES

In a classic Wolf round, a tied hole is worth nothing — nobody wins, nobody pays. Carryover changes that. Each hole carries a pot, and when a hole is halved the pot rolls straight into the next one and keeps growing as the round tightens. The pressure builds with every push.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Set what each hole is worth — the pot, from 1 to 5 points.
  • Tie a hole and the pot rolls forward to the next one.
  • Win a hole and the winning side takes the whole pot.
  • Go Lone Wolf or Blind Wolf to multiply the entire pot — whoever wins the hole takes the multiplied amount.
  • Dial in your own Lone and Blind multipliers, up to 5×.

The multiplier cuts both ways — win and you clean up, lose and the Hunters cash in big. It's the fastest way to turn a quiet round into a white-knuckle finish.

A WORKED EXAMPLE

Halve a few holes until the pot sits at 4 points. Now call Blind Wolf with your blind multiplier set to — suddenly the hole is worth 12 points, won or lost on a single putt.

TURNING IT ON

Carryover is optional. Flip it on in Advanced Settings when you want the drama, and leave it off for a classic Wolf round. Lone and Blind Wolf, tee rotation, and custom point values all still work exactly as they do in a normal game — see how to play Wolf for the full rundown.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What is carryover in Wolf golf?
Carryover is an optional Wolf scoring mode where a tied hole isn't worth zero — its points roll forward into the next hole instead. The pot keeps growing every time a hole is halved, so a single hole late in the round can be worth a small fortune.
How big can the carryover pot get?
You set what each hole is worth — the pot — from 1 to 5 points. Every tie adds that value to the pot. Tie three 2-point holes in a row and the next hole is worth 8, plus any Lone or Blind Wolf multiplier on top.
Do Lone Wolf and Blind Wolf multiply the carried pot?
Yes. Going Lone Wolf or Blind Wolf multiplies the whole pot — up to 5×, with multipliers you configure. It cuts both ways: win the hole and you clean up, lose it and the Hunters cash in big.
Is carryover required to play Wolf?
No. Carryover is optional — classic Wolf has no carryover, and ties simply score zero. Turn it on in Advanced Settings when you want the extra drama, or leave it off for a traditional round.
