LONE WOLF & BLIND WOLF.

The wolf rotates each hole and makes the call — partner up, go it alone, or commit blind before anyone tees off. Here's how the two boldest plays in Wolf work.

THE WOLF'S DECISION

Wolf lives and dies by the wolf's decision on each hole. The wolf can pick a partner off the tee and share the hole — or refuse a partner and take on the field solo. Going solo comes in two flavors: Lone Wolf and Blind Wolf. Both pit the wolf against everyone else; the difference is when you commit and how much you stand to win.

LONE WOLF

Pass on every player as they tee off and you're going Lone Wolf: solo against everyone else for the rest of the hole. You've watched every tee shot before committing, so it's the calculated gamble — beat the whole field and you take the bigger payout; come up short and the Hunters split the points. It's the call you make when you like your line and don't need a partner dragging the score.

BLIND WOLF

Blind Wolf is the boldest call in the game: you declare you're going solo before a single shot is struck — yours included. No information, maximum risk, and the highest multiplier on the board. It's a haymaker, best saved for the moment you need to swing the whole match on one hole.

Down three with two to play? Call Blind Wolf, beat the field, and swing the whole match on a single hole.

HOW IT SCORES

  • One player is the wolf each hole, on a rotation the app manages for you.
  • The wolf picks a partner, goes Lone Wolf, or calls Blind Wolf — one tap.
  • Lone and Blind Wolf each apply their own multiplier to the hole; you set the values, up to 5×.
  • Points are awarded automatically based on the call and who won the hole.
  • A wolf howl marks a Lone Wolf call — turn it off if your group prefers quiet.

Lone and Blind Wolf stack cleanly with carryover — multiply a pot that's already rolled forward and a single hole can be worth a fortune. The full Wolf rules cover tee order and partner timing.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What's the difference between Lone Wolf and Blind Wolf?
Both pit the wolf solo against everyone else. Lone Wolf is declared after you've seen the other players' tee shots and passed on taking a partner. Blind Wolf is committed before anyone tees off — including the wolf — so it carries no information and the highest multiplier.
When can the wolf go Lone Wolf?
If the wolf passes on every player as they tee off — or reaches the tee without picking a partner — they play the hole solo against the rest of the group. The full timing rules are on the how-to-play page.
How much are Lone Wolf and Blind Wolf worth?
Each applies its own multiplier to the hole, and you set the values (up to 5×). The app awards the points automatically based on the call and who won the hole.
Do I need to know the rules to play?
No. The app guides first-timers with on-screen hints, so nobody needs to know Wolf cold to play. Tap the call, play the hole, and the scoreboard updates itself.
